Happy Halloween Everyone! cont..in Nov.

So...the first time we tried the piglet costume, she screamed! It was so big on her and she didn't like the hood. The tummy was so fat it was squishing over her chin. We waited and tried again later and she gave us a few moments...Guess we can wear it next year! Our back up was this pumpkin set, with ghost feet, that you can't see of course. She was comfy in it and mommy had to have the Jack bib again. Problem was it made my little cutie look like a boy :(  Until she smiles of course. So, Happy Halloween and on to our next page...

This is another 6 month photo taken. The photo studio offered me another shoot for free! So, why not. Still not the crazy big smile we can get at home, but a cute photo. She is wearing shoes from Peru that Leticia's mom gave to her. They are really soft moccasins and fit her well. 
Friday is our appt with the pediatrician...wish us luck! Hopefully we have gained enough weight to keep everyone happy. I hope she has grown well too. I will let you know....
"Well, it's taken a month, but I am finally going to sleep by myself in my bed-sometimes"-myanna...
At night it is really a struggle though. Myanna is still shaken by the dark so it takes a lot of singing, rocking and walking to get her to sleep for the night. Once she is out though, she does sleep until 6 am. I still have to get up and feed her at midnight and 3:30 so she gets the calories she needs. She really enjoyed having Dylan and Amanda home this weekend. She was all smiles.

6 months, 11 pounds
We went out and got Myanna her 6 month photo taken today. She looks so different than just a few weeks ago. Her head is suddenly very round and her hair is becoming noticeable and is a light brown. Her eyes are still brilliant blue. She weighs 11 pounds now and she is growing long, her 0-3 month clothes fit nicely but not for long.

She's eating food: chicken, turkey, sweet potatoes, squash, peas and avocado. They don't want to start her on rice cereal since its simply carbs and they want her to have protein and fats in her diet. She really enjoys eating, more-so than the bottles. Unfortunately she still needs them but thankfully with the food calories she doesn't need so many. She is gaining weight great! She was 10lb 12 1/2 oz this morning at the pediatritian-who thinks she is doing terrific. 

My new toy! 

The nutritionist told me I should buy one because she holds up her head so well. I had been thinking of it anyways...and she loves it! Her tummy isn't too fond of it, she seems to spit up when she is in it-her reflux. Other than that, she likes having the independence. She was 10lbs, 9oz this morning! We are on a roll! Finally
