Summer 2015...
This has been a busy summer, not just that but I just couldn't find time to sit and write. I have been taking notes along the way though so I can fill you in and I have some wonderful photos.
I apologize for not entering any information or photos. I think I was trying so hard to keep Anna busy that I neglected to share what great things she was doing with others. We did have a busy and pretty amazing summer. Anna was able to travel to New York, Pa and Ohio to visit family and make friends with cousins she had never met before. She went to the Zoo, aquariums, and even a safari where she fed animals out the car window. I was able to take her to the pool every week and let her meet new friends and play in the splash area. She loves water so that was like a vacation for her every week. We went back to Dutch Wonderland this year, but this time with Dylan, Nanny and PapPap. It was a great couple days. In Ohio, we went to the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium and got to hang out with many cousins. She really enjoyed her cousin Margot who she had met earlier this summer when Sean came to visit. In NY, we also went to the aquarium with cousins and Grandma. She loved being able to play at all her Uncle and Aunt’s houses. This fall she started her third year of school, already. She’s been very excited for school to start again and asked me about it every day over the summer. She still asks me every morning if it’s a school day or not. Horseback riding has been very good for her. The skills she is learning there have really been noticeable in her every day life. I have to say it’s the best therapy she has right now. She really listens and learns from her instructor. Another activity she is still enjoying is gymnastics. She continued all summer and is now going in the fall. Its great for her and her friend from school goes with her. They are the only two in the class and her coach is amazing and very patient. Of Course, school started again the end of August and she loves her friends and teachers. I am so happy she is getting so much enjoyment out of her days there. This is her the beginning of her third year in special needs pre-k.

The end summer vacation brought about the first day of school for Anna. What a happy day that was for her!
